Originally constructed in 1928 as a community center, The Old Schoolhouse was built through generous donations of both time and resources — a true labor of love by local families. In the decades that followed, the building evolved with the needs of its community: serving as a schoolhouse in the 1950s, then later as a hub for roller skating nights, civic events, and neighborhood celebrations.
In 2014, The Old Schoolhouse underwent a full restoration, carefully preserving its historic charm while thoughtfully updating the space for modern events. Today, it has been lovingly returned to its original purpose: a place where families and friends come together to celebrate life’s most meaningful moments.
The venue features three distinct event spaces:

Each space offers its own unique atmosphere and can be used for ceremonies, cocktail hours, or receptions depending on your vision and guest count. All three are included with every full-day rental, allowing you to craft a celebration that flows beautifully from one setting to the next.
On the lower level, you’ll find two private getting-ready suites, each with a full bathroom for comfort and privacy throughout the day. A spacious lounge provides an inviting spot for extended family and friends to relax and connect before the festivities begin. This floor also includes an oversized catering kitchen, outfitted with a Sub-Zero refrigerator and ample prep space — ideal for hosting caterers of any style.

the BALLROOM
The Ballroom at The Old Schoolhouse is where timeless charm meets modern celebration. Surrounded on all sides by large windows, the space is bathed in beautiful natural light throughout the day, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for your event. The original 1928 hardwood floors lend a touch of historic elegance, while the clean, neutral interior provides a versatile backdrop that can be styled to suit any wedding aesthetic, from romantic and rustic to sleek and sophisticated.
At the far end of the room, a built-in DJ booth makes entertainment seamless, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening of music and dancing. Whether you're envisioning a formal plated dinner or a lively cocktail-style reception, The Ballroom can accommodate up to 160 guests for a seated dinner or 180 guests for a ceremony or cocktail hour at peak capacity. Please note that with a guest count of 120 or more for a seated dinner leaves minimal space for a dance floor inside.
The space is fully equipped with central heat and air conditioning, ensuring your guests stay comfortable year-round, no matter the season.

The Orchard
Radiating natural whimsy and romance, The Orchard is a breathtaking setting for ceremonies, cocktail hours, or simply unforgettable photos. Tucked in the northwest corner of the property, the orchard features wide, walkable rows framed by gently arching hazelnut trees, offering an enchanting sense of privacy and serenity.
In spring and summer, the canopy is lush with vibrant green leaves, creating a soft, dappled light that’s perfect for golden hour vows or portraits. As fall arrives, the grove transforms into a stunning palette of amber and gold, adding a warm, rustic backdrop to your celebration.
The orchard is ideal for intimate ceremonies of 80 or fewer, or it can accommodate 200 guests for a seated dinner or cocktail-style reception beneath the open sky.
Whether you're exchanging vows under the trees or sipping signature cocktails among the leaves, the orchard offers a one-of-a-kind setting that feels both magical and deeply personal.
The Garden
Overflowing with beauty and charm, The Garden is the centerpiece of the property and one of the most beloved ceremony locations at The Old Schoolhouse. Surrounded by cultivated foliage and lush plantings, the space offers a storybook setting that feels both timeless and romantic.
Throughout the season, the garden transforms as different flora and fauna come into bloom, painting the landscape with ever-changing color. From deep purple irises in spring to blush-toned roses in summer, each phase brings its own unique atmosphere and offers couples a naturally evolving backdrop that’s breathtaking in every light.
The garden is perfect for ceremonies of up to 200 guests and can also be used for cocktail hours, portraits, or outdoor receptions. With wide open skies above and curated plantings all around, it's a space that invites guests to pause, breathe, and celebrate in the beauty of the moment.
Pricing
We strive to provide an incredible venue for your special day at an attainable price. Our packages include:
Exclusive use of the full property, including The Old Schoolhouse, The Garden, and The Orchard. We do not schedule more than one wedding in a day, nor do we host tours during your event rental time. This ensures ultimate privacy for your special day, with our staff’s sole focus on you and your guests.
A full day rental, starting at 8:00am and ending at 11:00pm. Our extended rental time allows couples ample time to decorate before getting ready in our on-site suites.
Access to two fully-appointed getting ready suites, complete with private bathrooms in each. Each suite is equipped with numerous mirrors, outlets, and vintage soft seating so your wedding party can get ready in style and comfort.
60” round tables, 6’ banquet tables, cocktail tables, folding garden chairs, black and white Chiavari chairs for your guest count. Setup and breakdown is included in the venue rental, so you can spend your time thoughtfully decorating the space. With two sets of chairs for up to 200 guests, chairs are set for both ceremony and reception with no need to move chairs between the two.
1 hour on-site rehearsal time prior to wedding date so your wedding party feels confident going down the aisle.
Ample parking for guests and vendors, with overflow parking available for larger weddings with over 160 guests.
Multi-stall, indoor restrooms for guests so key moments are not missed waiting in line.
Dedicated, on-site staff member present for the duration of your event to make sure the venue meets our high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Host a full weekend of celebration with our full weekend buyout. Arrive on Friday to begin setup, host your rehearsal and celebrate with your closest family and friends at an on-site rehearsal dinner. Host your big day on Saturday stress-free, knowing you can return Sunday morning to pack up at a leisurely pace.
Full weekend buyout comes with access to venue from 12:00pm on Friday through 12:00pm Sunday and includes two setup/breakdowns by venue staff (one for rehearsal dinner and one for ceremony/reception).
